Raelee has started to become super fussy whenever Brad or I leave her sight. This makes getting ready for the day kinda hard. I've started taking her with me and putting her in our washcloth basket, which she thinks is the neatest thing. Now I'm able to do my hair and makeup, and she's happy.

Yesterday was the stake softball tournament. It was the most perfect weather. Not to hot, not to cool, and gorgeous blue skies. I had fun playing, I tried to take it easy since I haven't been as active as I'm used to since Raelee's birth. I wanted to be able to move today. The soreness hasn't been too bad. Brad is a different story though. Due to school, he hasn't been able to play ball this season, and I forgot how great he is. Everytime I got a chance to watch him, he was running and sliding, and tumbling to catch the softball. He scared me to death from his throws, they are so darn fast! It makes me nervous cause there were a few guys out there that had never played before(how in the world they managed that in life I don't know!) Anyways, he's pretty tore up today, but thinks it was worth it.
After the tourney, we went to the FSU garnet and gold game with my little bro Matt and our friend Drew. It was Raelee's first football game. She was not too happy at first cause she was hungry and sleepy, but after some food and a nap, she was good to go! Side note: Trying to breast feed her in the stands was work, whew! That girl sometimes makes eating so difficult. By the 4th quarter, she was smiling and cooing, so fun. The fireworks after the game were better than the ones for the 4th of July. All in all, it was a very fun and tiring weekend. Thank goodness for Sunday afternoon naps :)
Oh, and Brad and I have started the couch to 5k program. This will be week one. Wish us luck!

March, catching up
Whew, so glad to start a new month. Not that anything bad happened in March, it was just crazy busy. I was really nervous the first day back, but I was able to jump right back into the swing of things. I work 3 twelve hour shifts a week, which is considered full-time, but man, those are some long days! However, I 'm glad since I only have to miss my sweet little girl 3 days a week instead of 5. It's been fun to be able to spend time with my co-workers, I've been blessed to have some really great friends that I work with. I didn't realized how I had missed taking care of patients also. Not to brag, but I'm pretty confidant in my job abilities and think I'm a pretty good nurse, its awesome to be able to have the medical knowledge to help people.
Brad just finished a final exam tonight. His program is so fast paced, its crazy! I'm really proud of him for doing so well with his schooling. He has a lot on his plate to juggle, and is doing a great job. He's such an awesome friend and husband. To brag on him a bit, he cooked dinner every night this week. I was wiped out from work, we would have been having cereal for dinner if it had been up to me to cook!
Raelee is doing awesome. We weighed her Saturday, 13 lbs! She loves to talk to us and she's almost rolling over, she can't quite get that arm out of the way. She has realized she has hands and is always grabbing stuff now. And... she has a tooth coming in! Sniff, she's growing too fast! I'm so glad she loves to sleep like her momma. She goes to bed around 10 pm and sleeps until 7ish, then she eats and goes back to sleep until 10ish. Then we wake up and play! I could go on and on about her. Basically, she's the coolest little thing ever!
The pic is from Raelee's baby blessing. We had it at our home the end of February and it was such an awesome experience. We were able to have family and friends attend. The spirit was so strong in our home. It was amazing to hear everyone singing "I am a Child of God" and "I'm trying to be Like Jesus" in our home. We are so blessed to have sweet Raelee in our family.
