8 weeks

Pre-Pregnancy foods that I loved, that now I REALLY love (in no particular order):
1. Tomato sandwiches
2. Tuna fish and crackers
3. Publix subs
4. Spree candies
5. Peaches
6. Green grapes
7. Plums
8. Raspberry lemonade
9. French toast from Cracker Barrel.
10. Sonny's BBQ
11. Mac and cheese
12. Taco Bell soft tacos
13. Chips and salsa
14. Cream of wheat
15. Apple Bee's mashed potatoes.

My bum leg

Wednesday evening, I was minding my own business, walking back to my car in a parking lot after shooting some hoops with my little bro, when there was an excruciating pain in the back of my left leg. A wasp had stung me and it really, really hurt! Not to sound like a baby, but that was some pain! Well, by Friday my leg didn't even look like my leg anymore. It was swollen from the ankle to knee all the way around, and I had a HUGE bruise where I had been stung, and it really hurt to walk. Oh, and itched like crazy! I went to work anyway, figuring one of our doc's could give me advice on what to do, well the advice was to go to the E.R. Well, I didn't do that, but I did go to my regular doc that afternoon, and was placed on antibiotics. Apparently, I had an allergic reaction/infection going on. The fun part was I got a work release for the entire weekend, but the not so fun part was I had to sit around with my leg on a pillow with an icepack. My leg's feeling a ton better now, not so swollen, but still bruised, it doesn't hurt to walk anymore thank goodness, so back to work I go tomorrow. However, I am going to do my darnedest to stay away from any insects that fly and sting.

no news

Boo, the doctor wasn't able to tell the gender of our little one. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait another month. The doctor did say if he had to guess, he would say girl, but definitely not to buy anything or paint the nursery yet. It'll be fun to see if he's right or not :)

The suspense is killing us!

Well tomorrow, hopefully, fingers crossed, knock on wood, we will find out which our little one is going to be. We're trying not to get too excited just in case baby decides to be modest :) In which case, we'll have to wait another 4 weeks! Brad and I both think it's a boy, so we'll see...
